FAQs for Hosts

How do I register? Is there any category?

The first thing you need to do is to make sure you register in your own cadre. If you're an individual having some non-commercial space to rent out, you need to register as a Host. But if you're a manager or an owner of any commercial space belonging to the hospitality industry, you need to register as an affiliate.
Therefore, registration is your first step to move forward.

As a host or affiliate, when can I accept booking?

Before accepting bookings, you need to complete your basic profile. This will set the right expectations for potential visitors. Create an accurate and informative ad with appealing photos of the place.
Provide as much detail as possible in describing the Jagha you are renting. To avoid misunderstandings with Visitors be as detailed as possible.

Why do I need to verify my account? How do I verify?

Visitors trust heavily on a host having verified account. You can verify your profile by adding your personal photograph, a scanned National Identification Card and your bank account details.
By receiving all these requirements, JaghaJagha Team will assign a verified icon to your profile.

Is there any commission fee to be paid by a host?

An agreed upon JaghaJagha 10% commission fee will be deducted from the total confirmed value of each booking processed on the JaghaJagha marketplace.

As a host my privacy is most important, what about that?

Your privacy is our guarantee. No one other than the visitors you have confirmed has access to your full name or your contact details. Only your name, place name, its details with photo gallery and the general location of your place on the map will be visible on the website. How do I make my place more attractive for the visitors?

To be able to attract more Visitors, you should try to improve your place by adding new things to your showcased Jagha. Try to copy or match all professional ethics of a Hotelier. You are becoming an entrepreneur at a micro level so manage your Jagha professionally. Take photos when your place is almost perfect to take. Renovate your Jagha if its untidy, clear your room, clean your toilets to the Visitors liking.

How do I secure my place while a visitor stays?

Most of the times Hosts require that Visitors provide a security deposit at check-in to cover any incidentals. You may wish to do the same by requesting a security deposit from your Visitors. JaghaJagha is unable to collect deposits for you as this is usually done after the booking has been confirmed or at the time of check-in.

What is the use of a review?

Be polite while replying to a review even if its a bit negative. Instead try to remove the negative thing being pointed out by the visitor to turn into a positive thing for the next visitor.

Can I include my personal weblinks or contact numbers in a listed place?

We request our worthy hosts not to include any personal weblinks or other business platform links while adding your place on JaghaJagha (after adding the details you enter in your profile).
